Argye House is situated on the West Cliff of Whitby and is 5 min walk from the cliff top and the towns shopping area. It is ideal for visiting the beautiful surrounding villages of Robin Hoods bay, Goathland (Heartbeat, Harry Potter) and Dalby Forrest (excellent walking and mountain biking).

We do our best to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable and with the freedom to come and go as you please - whatever the time of day or night. Our aim is to give you the best service possible to ensure you have a trouble free stay in a very clean environment and then to make sure you leave fully satisfied after our hearty but healthy breakfast. We are very proud of our service and are confident that you will enjoy your experience at Argyle House.

Argyle House is fully en-suite and non smoking. Each room has a hospitality tray with unlimited hot drinks, colour TV, Free WIFI, hairdryer, iPod clock radio, plenty of towels, toiletries etc. A hair straightener, steam iron & board is also available. Some beds are memory foam at no extra cost.

Parking is free & unlimited on the street. A 24hr council car park is only 50 yrds away.

A hearty breakfast is served in our restored dining room. Our eggs are free range, bacon, sausages and kippers are sourced locally to provide the best quality possible (not supermarket). Vegetarian as standard. Special diets are also catered for.
